Why We Love What We Do
At Academic Field Trips And Tours, travel is about more than reaching a destination. It's about creating opportunities for people to learn, connect, explore, and make lasting memories together. Whether it's a student's first visit to Washington, D.C., a senior group's long-awaited getaway, or a community organization experiencing a new destination, we believe travel has the power to bring people together in meaningful ways.
Every trip is unique because every group is unique. That's why our team enjoys working closely with group leaders to understand their goals, develop customized itineraries, and create experiences that fit the needs and interests of the travelers involved.
What Inspires Our Team
Helping Students Learn Beyond the Classroom
Educational travel creates opportunities for students to experience history, culture, government, science, and new perspectives firsthand. Seeing those moments of discovery is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.
Creating Meaningful Experiences for Every Generation
From student groups and young adults to senior travelers and community organizations, we enjoy helping people of all ages create memories through shared experiences and new destinations.
Turning Ideas Into Memorable Trips
One of the most rewarding parts of the planning process is taking an idea and transforming it into a well-organized, enjoyable travel experience. Every successful trip starts with a conversation and grows through thoughtful planning and coordination.
Building Long-Term Relationships
Many of the groups we work with travel with us year after year. We value those relationships and take pride in helping organizations create traditions, experiences, and memories that continue long after the trip ends.
Favorite Team Destination
If our team had to choose one destination that every group should experience, Washington, D.C. would be at the top of the list. With its combination of history, culture, government landmarks, museums, and educational opportunities, it offers something meaningful for travelers of all ages while providing experiences that often leave a lasting impression.
